I think I back to crafting LOL

This last year was the hardest one of my life.  Losing my father so unexpectedly just messed me up.  I was struggling before his death to get back into my crafting, then when he passed a part of me went with him.  With the help of friends and family giving me the time to grieve (and I still do grieve and cry a lot) I am finally starting to craft again and enjoy it.  I went on a week long cruise with some friends from my high school days and my oldest daughter.  I made little gift bag totes,with little mini albums and they came out so cute.  I have also started loom knitting, crocheting and making some jewelry pieces,  It's nice having a variety of crafts to do.   I have made a few baby blankets and am working on a baby girl album for my friends daughter who just had a baby girls.  I think life is slowly starting to be good again. I made these memory necklaces (one for my mom and one for my sister) in memory of my dad.

Wow, I can't believe it is already 2015!  Time is just going so fast.  I have another album to share with you, it is a baby girl album I gave to a friend for the birth of her daughter in December.  She just loved it and that made me feel so happy!!!!  I am working on some other baby gifts and will share them here as I finish them up.  :)

I will be back in the next day or so to post some pictures.  One of my goals for this year is to do better at keeping this blog up to date and opening an Etsy store!  I think this year will be the year of change, and change for the better.

Just finished 2 albums

I have just finished a graduation foto folio album for my son's girlfriend.  This is based on a Kathy Orta Files Paper Phenomenon tutorial.  This was a lot of fun to make and hope to make a few more.  Most of the decorative paper came from K & Company 12x12 Graduation paper pad and then a few papers that I had that matched.

I also finished a baby boy album from My Sisters Scrapper youtube video.  The papers used for this album were mostly from K &Company Itsy Bitsy Baby Boy 8.8x8.5 paper pack.

I have just finished making a baby girl mini album for my friend's niece.  This was so much fun to create and am happy with the outcome.  I hope you like the way it turned out too!

Happy to be crafting again!

Boy has it been a long time since I posted anything.  I am back to crafting again and enjoying it.  I am working on a baby girl album for a friend.  It is coming along nicely and I will take some pictures when finished.  Then I will start on another baby boy album and 2 wedding albums.  Lots to do and so glad to be back crafting!!!!! 

Recovering from Neck Surgery

Just to let you know that I an doing well after having neck surgery on August 7.  I hope to start making more albums to share with you soon.  I made 3 mini albums in July/August but forgot to take pictures of them before I gave them away as gifts.  They were a lot of fun to make!   :) 

I really liked making the 6x6 mini album.  It was so much fun!  I am going to work on making an 8x8 album.  Since math is not my strong suit this should be interesting.  :)   I am also going to be making some more 6x6 mini albums.
